Applications for courses starting in the autumn of 2010 are now closed.

The BFC MA scholarship is awarded to a graduate from one of the BFC Colleges Council member colleges. This is to support graduates who have been offered a place on an MA fashion design course who for financial reasons would be unable to accept their place on the course without support.

Created in 1998 and funded by the Princess of Wales Charitable Trust, the scholarship scheme aims to provide support to BA Graduates who require financial help. The BFC believes education in the UK is the best in the world and supporting young designers is imperative to maintaining London's position as the birthplace of talent.

The recipient of the MA Scholarship is selected by an independent advisory panel. The scholarship helps the student with their fees and/or provides a contribution towards expenses.

Final year degree students were invited to submit their application. Applicants submitted their portfolio and application, which included a reference from their Head of Course, as well as their offer letter from the MA College. Following a portfolio assessment and selection process, seven shortlisted finalists from the following Colleges were invited for an interview with the panel.
